THDC 129 Engineers recruitment Exam Pattern

Reference is invited to the Advertisement No. 02/2025 dated 12.02.2025 – Recruitment of Experienced Engineer/ Executive in different disciplines in E-2 Grade on Regular Basis on All India Basis uploaded on THDC India Limited website.
In line with General Information & Instructions Point No 21, the criteria under the heading Selection Process of the detailed advertisement are modified as below:

? Point No-2 Is fully deleted and
? Point No-3 Is to be read as “The selection process for all the post code shall comprise of Written/Computer Based Test and Personal Interview.”
? Candidates must obtain minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Test in order to be considered for
shortlisting for Personal Interview.
? The details of Computer Based test are as given below:

Computer Based test pattern

i. Examination Duration 150 minutes (2.5 hours)
ii. Medium of Examination English and Hindi
iii. Total Marks & Subjects 150 Marks/ 150 Questions
PART I- 15 multiple choice questions of the General Awareness.
PART II- 15 multiple choice questions of Reasoning.
PART III- 120 multiple choice questions of the concerned discipline.
iv. Marking ? Each question will carry one mark.
? For every correct answer of multiple-choice questions, 1 mark shall be awarded.
? For every wrong answer of multiple-choice questions, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
? No marks will be awarded/deducted from un-attempted questions.

CATEGORY QUALIFYING PERCENTAGE MARKS


Unreserved (UR)/EWS/ OBC(NCL) 50% of total marks
SC/ST/PwBDs/Ex-Servicemen* 40% of total marks

  • wherever vacancy is reserved for respective category
    ? The final merit list will be drawn on the basis of the following:
    (i)Marks obtained in Written Test will carry 75% weightage (Total marks 150).
    (ii) Marks obtained in Personal Interview will carry 25% weightage (Total marks 50).
    ? To be considered for empanelment, the Unreserved (UR)/EWS/ OBC(NCL) candidate must secure 50% of
    total marks (Total Marks-200 .i.e. Computer Based Test and Personal Interview) and for SC/ST/PwBDs/ExServicemen candidates must secure 40% of total marks (Total Marks-200 .i.e. Computer Based Test and
    Personal Interview).
    ? Point No-4-No change
    All other Terms & Condition including closing date remains unchanged as before.
