IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for Trade, Technician & Graduate Apprentice Posts

IndianOil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released an official notification for the Engagement of Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment is for IOCL Marketing Division – Northern Region across multiple states and Union Territories.

Eligible candidates can apply online through NAPS/NATS portals from 27 December 2025 to 12 January 2026.

Apprentice vacancies are distributed across Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, J&K, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand with reservation for UR, EWS, SC, ST, OBC (NCL) and PwBD as per Government norms.

Trade Apprentice (ITI)

• Matric + 2-year ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT)

Data Entry Operator

• Class 12th pass
• Skilled candidates must possess NSQF-recognized Skill Certificate

Technician Apprentice

• 3-year Diploma in relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum Marks:
  • 50% – UR / EWS / OBC-NCL
  • 45% – SC / ST / PwBD

Graduate Apprentice

• Any full-time regular graduation
• Same percentage criteria as above

? Distance / Part-time / Correspondence courses are NOT eligible

• Maximum Age: 24 Years

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC-NCL: 3 Years

As per Apprentices Act + IOCL benefits:

• Graduate Apprentice: ?9000 + ?2500 (misc.)
• Technician Apprentice: ?8000 + ?2500 (misc.)
• Trade Apprentice: As per Act + ?2500

?? Aadhaar-seeded bank account is mandatory

• Selection purely on Merit Basis
• Merit prepared using marks in qualifying exam
• Tie-breaker:
