The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) under the Department of Space has released a recruitment notification through Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram. Applications are invited for the posts of Authorised Medical Officer (Allopathy), Authorised Medical Officer (Homeopathy), and Dermatologist on a contract basis.

Post Details and Eligibility

1. Authorised Medical Officer (Allopathy)

Location: Parassala, Thiruvananthapuram

Qualification

• bhMBBS degree
• Permanent registration with Medical Council

Experience

• Minimum 2 years after permanent registration

Duties

• Consultation and treatment of CHSS beneficiaries

Other Requirement

• Must have own consultation room with good facilities in Parassala

Salary

• ?12,000 – ?54,000 per month (based on number of files handled)

Contract Duration

• Initially 6 months (extendable with mutual consent)

2. Authorised Medical Officer (Homeopathy)

Location: Nemom, Thiruvananthapuram

Qualification

• BHMS degree
• Registration with Council of Indian Systems of Medicine

Experience

• Minimum 2 years after graduation and registration

Duties

• Consultation and treatment for CHSS beneficiaries

Other Requirement

• Own consultation room with good facilities in Nemom

Salary

• ?12,500 per month (fixed)

Contract Duration

• Initially 6 months (extendable)

3. Dermatologist

Qualification

• MBBS with permanent Medical Council registration
  AND
• MD / DNB in Dermatology
  OR
• PG Diploma in Dermatology with additional registration

Experience

• Minimum 2 years after PG degree/diploma

Duties

• Consultation and treatment of dermatological diseases for CHSS beneficiaries

Other Requirement

• Consultation room with good facilities in Thiruvananthapuram city

Salary

• ?400 per consultation

Contract Duration

• Initially 6 months (extendable)

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through:

1. Personal Interview
2. Inspection of the consultation room

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.

Age Limit

Preference will be given to candidates below 70 years of age.
