• Electrical Engineering
• Instrumentation Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering

? Trade Apprentices (ITI / Non-Technical)

• Fitter
• Electrician
• Electronics Mechanic
• Instrument Mechanic
• Machinist
• Data Entry Operator (Fresher)
• Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders)

? Graduate Apprentices

• Any Graduate (BA / B.Com / B.Sc / BBA or equivalent)

Vacancies are distributed state-wise and category-wise (UR, EWS, SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD) and are tentative, subject to change as per IOCL requirements and Government reservation norms.

Reservation & PwBD Guidelines (As per Notification)

• Reservation is applicable as per Government of India norms
• PwBD reservation is applied on a horizontal basis
• PwBD candidates must possess a valid disability certificate issued under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016
• Certain hazardous disciplines are not eligible for PwBD, as clearly stated in the notification

IOCL Apprentice Stipend 2026

The monthly stipend for selected apprentices will be paid as per:

• Apprentices Act, 1961
• Apprentices Rules, 1992/2019/2025 (as amended from time to time)
