Graduate and Technician/Diploma Apprentices Qualification & experience :

A degree in engineering or technology granted by statutory University.

A degree in engineering or technology granted by an Institutions empowered to grant such degrees by an Act of Parliament.

A Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.

 A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
As prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rule 1992, and amendments thereof if any.

DURATION OF TRAINING:
The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per Apprentices
(Amendment) Act1973.

PREVIOUS TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship
under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one year or more experience are not
eligible to apply.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The overall provisional rank list based on merit will be shared to Hindustan Shipyard Limited
after the cutoff date. Certificate verification can be done by Hindustan Shipyard Limited
Visakhapatnam. BoAT (SR) will coordinate virtually from this office whole day to assist on the day
of verification
