Junior Research Fellow Qualification & experience :

Any ONE of the following qualifying degrees: ? M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Physics/Applied Physics/Photonics/Solid State Physics or other topics in Physics. ? B. Tech. or equivalent degree in Engineering Physics/ Photonics ? M. Tech./ MS or equivalent degree in Engineering Physics/      Applied Physics/Optics/Photonics/Solid State Physics. ? M.Phil. or equivalent degree in Physics/Applied Physics/Photonics/Solid State Physics or other topics in Physics.  The eligibility criteria in the qualifying degree is First Class (a minimum of 60% marks or Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.0 on the scale of 0-10)
The candidates must also fulfil any ONE of the following additional requirements: • Selection in National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) in Physical Sciences  • Valid GATE score in Physics. • Selection in a National level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, etc. in Physical Sciences.

Junior Research Fellow Selection Process :    

The Selection Process will be based on Screening and Interview.
