Eligibility Criteria for Executive Engineer (Civil)

Educational Qualification

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institution
• Diploma in Civil Engineering is not sufficient for direct eligibility

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 5 years of experience in:
  • Planning
  • Construction
  • Design
  • Maintenance works
• Experience in Ports / Marine Structures will be preferred

Age Limit

• As per Recruitment Rules of Visakhapatnam Port Authority
• Eligibility will be determined as on 19.01.2026

Mandatory Enclosures

1. Certified copies of ACRs/APARs for last 5 years
   • Period: 2020-21 to 2024-25
   • Each page attested by an officer not below Deputy Head of Department
   • If APAR is not available for any year, submit Non-Availability Certificate
2. Attested copies of educational qualification certificates
3. Experience certificates with post and pay scale details
4. Undertaking stating that candidature will not be withdrawn if selected
   • Withdrawal after selection will lead to 2-year debarment from future VPA recruitment
5. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from parent Port Authority (Annexure-III)
6. Vigilance / Administrative Clearance Certificate (Annexure-IV)
7. Verification of University Degree & Recognition Certificate (Annexure-V)
8. Complete Service Details in prescribed format (Annexure-VI)
9. Penalty Details, if any major or minor penalty imposed in last 10 years
