The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) invites online applications for the U.P. Technical Education (Teaching) Service Examination-2025 for Group-B Gazetted posts. Candidates must carefully follow the online application process via the One Time Registration (O.T.R.) system.

• Nature of Post: Group-B Gazetted, U.P. Technical Education (Teaching) Service
• Pay Scale: Level-9A, Entry Pay ?56,100

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification

Lecturer (Engineering & Technical Branches):

• Level-9A: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. in relevant discipline with First Class
• Level-10: Bachelor’s & Master’s Degrees in relevant discipline with First Class in either

Lecturer (Architecture):

• Level-9A: B.Arch. or 4-year degree in allied fields with First Class
• Level-10: Bachelor’s & Master’s Degrees in relevant discipline with First Class in either

Workshop Superintendent:

• Level-9A: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with First Class
• Level-10: Bachelor’s & Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering with First Class

Lecturer (Non-Engineering):

• Level-9A: Master’s Degree in appropriate subject (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English) with First Class

Preferential Qualifications:

• NCC ‘B’ Certificate or minimum 2 years of service in Territorial Army

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years (as of 01.07.2025)
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST/OBC/EWS/State Govt Employees/Skilled Players – 5 years
  • Physically Handicapped – 15 years
  • Ex-Army Personnel – 3 years + service period

Application Fee

Note: Fee payment is mandatory for the acceptance of the online application.

Online Application Process

Step 1: Authenticate with O.T.R. Number. Candidates without O.T.R. must register at https://otr.pariksha.nic.in.

Step 2: Fill the Applicant Dashboard details including permanent & correspondence address and qualifications.

Step 3: Proceed to Fee Payment via SBI MOPS (Net Banking, Card Payments, Other Modes).

Step 4: Print the final application form and preserve it for future references and document verification.

Candidates can modify qualifications/other details only once before the last date of application submission.

Selection Process

1. Written Examination: Conducted at various district centers in U.P.
2. Interview: Only candidates qualifying in written exam will be called.
3. Merit-Based Selection: Based on total marks obtained in written exam and interview.

Minimum Efficiency Standard:

• SC/ST – 35% marks
• Other Categories – 40% marks

Reservation

• U.P. SC/ST/OBC/EWS: As per Govt. rules
• Horizontal Reservation: Dependents of Freedom Fighters, Female Candidates, Ex-Servicemen, P.H., Skilled Players

Candidates claiming reservation must attach supporting certificate in the prescribed format (Appendix-1).

Important Instructions

• Date of Birth must match High School Certificate.
• Candidates must preserve O.T.R., fee payment, and application submission details.
• Misrepresentation or submission of forged documents will lead to disqualification and legal action.
• Examination will follow negative marking for wrong answers (1/3rd of question marks).
• Black Ball Point Pen only for OMR sheets.
