THDC India Limited (THDCIL), a Schedule ‘A’ Mini Ratna Public Sector Undertaking, has released an official notification for ITI Trade Apprenticeship Training 2026 at its Rishikesh Unit. Eligible candidates who are domiciles of Uttarakhand can apply for one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

THDC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details

A total of 30 apprentice seats are available in the following trades:

Educational Qualification THDC Apprentice Recruitment

• Must have passed 10th (Matriculation) and ITI in the relevant trade
• ITI must be completed as a regular candidate from a recognized institute
• Year of passing: 2023 or later
• Minimum Marks:
  • General / EWS / OBC (NCL): 60%
  • SC / ST: 55%

THDC Apprentice Recruitment Age Limit (as on 31.01.2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age:
  • General / EWS: 30 years
  • OBC (NCL): 33 years
  • SC / ST: 35 years
  • PwD (40% disability or more): Additional 10 years relaxation

Reservation & Preference

• Reservation for SC/ST as per Apprentices Act, 1961
• Reservation for OBC and PwD as per Uttarakhand Government norms
• Preference will be given to candidates from Tehri, Koteshwar, and Pipalkoti Project Affected Areas
• Only Uttarakhand domiciles are eligible

Selection Process THDC Apprentice Recruitment

• No written test or interview
• Selection will be based on merit (ITI marks)
• In case of a tie, older candidate will be given preference

Apprenticeship Duration & Stipend

• Training Duration: 1 Year
• Stipend: As per Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules (Amended 2025)
