Essential Qualification SSC CHSL Recruitment

• Data Entry Operator (DEO/DEO Grade A) in specific Ministries
  • Must have passed 12th Standard in Science with Math.
• LDC/JSA and other DEO/DEO Grade A posts
  • Must have passed 12th Standard or an equivalent exam.

The cut-off date for having the essential qualification is 01/01/2026. Candidates who have appeared for their 12th exam can also apply.

Salary details

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs.19,900-63,200).
• Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5(Rs.29,200-92,300).
• Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4(Rs.25,500-81,100).

Selection Process SSC CHSL Recruitment

1. The selection process includes two stages called Tiers.
2. Tier-I is a computer-based exam with multiple-choice questions.
3. Tier-II is also a computer-based exam. It has multiple sections. It also includes a Skill Test or Typing Test which is qualifying in nature.
4. A final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the Tier-II examination.
5. Document verification will be done by the user departments after the final result.
