Assam Police Constable Selection Process 2025

The selection of candidates will be based on a multi-stage process:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Medical Examination: Qualifying in nature, but carries marks.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST): Qualifying in nature (Height & Chest measurement).
3. Written Test: 100 MCQ-type questions for 50 marks.
4. Oral/Viva-Voce: For 5 marks.

Final Merit Calculation:

• Constable (UB) – Male & Female: PET (40) + Written Test (50) + Viva (5) + Academic Marks (5) = 100 Marks
• Constable (AB) – Male: PET (60) + Written Test (50) + Viva (5) = 115 Marks
• Constable (AB) – Female: PET (40) + Written Test (50) + Viva (5) = 95 Marks
