Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway (RRC/ECR) has come up with a total of 1149 vacancies for the post of Act Apprentice under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in various trades. As per the notification released by RRC/ECR, the online registration process for RRC ECR Apprentice Recruitment 2025 has now started on 26th September 2025. Candidates who are eligible can apply for the posts by visiting www.ecr.indianrailways.gov.in.

Essential Qualification East Central Railway Apprentices Recruitment

• Candidates must have passed Matriculation/10th class examination or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
• ITI in relevant trade (National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT).

East Central Railway Apprentices Recruitment Age Limit (as on 25/10/2025)

Candidates must have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age.

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: +5 years
• OBC: +3 years
• PwBD: +10 years (UR), +13 years (OBC), +15 years (SC/ST)
• Ex-servicemen: As per rules

Selected candidates will be paid stipend during Apprenticeship at the applicable rates as per extant instructions. Rates are liable to change as per rules and directions issued by Railway Board from time to time.

The selection process for the Act Apprentice under the RRC ECR Apprentice Recruitment 2025 is as follows:

3. Open the Advertisement Link: Click on the link titled “Notification for Engagement of Act Apprentices”.
4. Click on “Apply Online” and Register by entering your basic details like name, father’s name, mobile number, and email ID.
5. The registration number is generated and sent to your email/SMS.
6. Then again login and fill the Application Form with personal, educational, and other required details.
7. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and required certificates in the specified format.
8. Pay the Application Fee: If applicable.
9. Submit the Form: After successful payment.
10. Save the application form on your device for future reference.
