The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India have officially released an important notice regarding the revised Computer Based Test (CBT) exam schedule for Various Posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix notified under CEN 08/2024.
Candidates who have applied for RRB Level 1 posts are advised to carefully check the updated exam dates and follow instructions issued by the RRBs.

Revised CBT Exam Dates – RRB Level 1
As per the latest notice, the CBT exam earlier scheduled between 01 January 2026 to 16 January 2026 has now been revised.
? New CBT Exam Dates
- 08 & 09 January 2026
- 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 09 & 10 February 2026
Candidates must appear for the CBT on the date and shift mentioned in their Exam City & Date Intimation Slip.
Exam City & Date Intimation Slip – Important Information
- The Exam City & Date intimation link will be activated around 10 days prior to the exam date
- SC/ST candidates can also download Travel Authority along with city intimation
- Links will be available on the official websites of all RRBs
RRB Level 1 E-Call Letter Download
- E-Call letters (Admit Cards) will be available 4 days before the exam date
- Candidates must download the admit card using their registration number and password
- Entry to the exam centre will not be allowed without a valid admit card
SMS & Email Alerts
- RRBs will send SMS and Email notifications to candidates
- Alerts will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID used during application
- Candidates are advised to regularly check inbox and spam folders
