The Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), functioning under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has released the official Apprentice Recruitment Notification 2025-26 for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

As per Notification No. RWF/AT-16/627(2025-26) dated 28 February 2026, a total of 192 ITI Apprentice vacancies have been announced across multiple trades at RWF, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.

This is an excellent opportunity for 10th pass + ITI (NCVT) candidates looking to gain training experience in Indian Railways.

RWF Apprentice 2025-26 – Overview

Trade-Wise Vacancy Details (Total: 192 Posts)

? Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen will be provided as per Government of India norms.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (As on 01.03.2026)

• Minimum Age: 15 Years
• Maximum Age: 24 Years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC: 3 Years

Educational Qualification

Candidates must:

• Pass 10th / Matriculation with minimum 50% aggregate marks
• Hold National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT in relevant trade
• Be registered with Employment Exchange (mandatory except wards of Railway employees)

? SCVT certificates are not accepted
? Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible

Training Duration

• 1 Year: Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)
• 6 Months: CNC Programming cum Operator

Stipend Details

Selection Process

The selection will be strictly merit-based, calculated on:

• Percentage of marks obtained in 10th Class (minimum 50% required)

In Case of Tie:

• Older candidate will be preferred
• If Date of Birth is same, candidate who passed 10th earlier will be selected

No written exam or interview will be conducted.

• ?100/- (IPO or Demand Draft in favour of Principal Financial Adviser, Rail Wheel Factory)
• No fee for SC/ST/Women/PwBD candidates
• Fee is non-refundable

2. Fill the application carefully (no blank columns allowed).
3. Attach self-attested copies of:
   • 10th Marksheet
   • NCVT NTC Certificate
   • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
   • Employment Exchange Registration Card
   • Passport size photographs
   • IPO/DD (if applicable)
