Project nurse:

Essential qualifications and experience

Minimum second class or equivalent CGPA in four-year general nursing and midwife course

Applications are invited for the following posts for an Indian Council of Medical Research funded project
entitled “Resuscitation with umbilical cord intact in term and late preterm neonates (RECORD-IN trial)”
under Dr. Venkataseshan Sundaram, Professor, Department of Pediatrics, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
The post is purely on a contractual basis and will be extendable periodically until the project finishes.
Interested candidates may submit the filled form (template attached) along with a copy of 2-page biodata
to the NICU office (Mr. Surinder Yadav – 0172-2755341/0172-2755318) by 11:00 am on Thursday, 24th
April 2025.

NICU office location: Room no. 1, Level 3 (above gastro ward), F block, Nehru Hospital, PGIMER,
Chandigarh.
The application form should also have a photograph of the candidate applicant, age proof of the applicant
(tenth or twelfth standard certificate), education qualification certificate (self-attested copy), experience
certificate (self-attested copy) and a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the previous employer.
Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Biodata must include email address and functioning mobile contact number. Candidates will be informed
by email whether they are eligible for the interview. No other modes of communication will be maintained.
Interview date and time and venue will be intimated through email. Kindly check your email regularly
(including spam folder) for the information.
In case the number of candidates is more than 20, an objective written test will be tentatively held at
10.00 am on Saturday, 26th April 2025. The location of the written test shall be intimated through email.
Selection in-person interview of the short-listed candidates will be taking place tentatively at 12:00 pm
on 26th April 2025. Final date and time will be intimated through email to the short-listed candidates.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test or the interview3

Emoluments

Rs. 28000 Plus 18% HRA= Rs. 33040 per month (consolidated)
