Junior Research Fellow job description:

National Institute of Technology, Karnataka Department under Government of Karnataka recruiting Junior Research Fellow in the month of October 2023.They are 01 Junior Research Fellow Vacancy.The application can submit before 20/10/2023. The minimum qualification required for the Junior Research Fellow post is B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering or M.Tech./M.E. in Manufacturing/Production Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering/Materials Engineering and The Selection will be based on written test/interview.

Junior Research Fellow Qualification & experience :

Candidate with B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering and other allied disciplines with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10 CGPA). Candidate must have qualified GATE examination. (old gate score will also be considered). Or M.Tech./M.E. in Manufacturing/Production Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering/Materials Engineering and other allied areas with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10 CGPA). Candidate must have qualified GATE examination (old gate score is also considered). Those who are appearing for M.Tech/M.E last semester may also apply. Proof of M.Tech/ M.E certificate has to be provided during the time of interview.

Junior Research Fellow Selection Process :

The Selection Process will be based on written test/interview.
How to apply:  Interested candidates must apply with the following documents
(1) Cover letter
(2) Bio-data with passport-sized photograph
(3) Scanned copies of educational certificates and mark sheets, class XII onwards
(4) GATE qualification certificate
(5) Scanned copies to show proof of research experience, special achievements and publications, if any
(6) Filled copy of the application form enclosed with the advertisement.  The soft copies of all the above documents (pdf format) must be emailed to the e-mail ID srikanth.bontha@nitk.edu.in on or before October 20, 2023. Originals should be presented at the time of interview.
