Post-Wise Eligibility Criteria

1. Senior Capacity Building Consultant

Educational Qualification

• Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university

Experience (Essential)

• Minimum 9 years of combined experience at District/State/National level in:
  • Panchayat Governance
  • Rural Development programmes
  • Decentralised Planning
  • Capacity Building & Training of Panchayats
  • Women, children & backward sections development

Desirable Experience

• RGSA training & capacity building projects
• Localization of SDGs & LSDG-based GPDP/BPDP/DPDP
• Training material development & Training of Trainers (ToT)

Age Limit

• Not more than 50 years as on 31.12.2025
• Age relaxation as per GoI norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD

Salary

• ?75,000 per month (consolidated)
• Travel & subsistence allowance as per NIRDPR norms

2. Capacity Building Consultant

Educational Qualification

• Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university

Experience (Essential)

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in:
  • Panchayat Governance
  • Rural Development
  • Capacity Building & Training
  • Decentralised Planning

Desirable Experience

• RGSA projects
• Localization of SDGs
• Training & material development

Age Limit

• Not more than 50 years as on 31.12.2025

Salary

• ?60,000 per month (consolidated)
• Travel & subsistence allowance as per NIRDPR norms

Job Location & Nature of Work

• Posted at State Institutes of Rural Development (SIRD) / State Panchayat Resource Centres (SPRC)
• Work in a cluster of 4–6 districts
• Extensive field travel (up to 15 days per month)
• All-India transferable (preference to home state if vacancy available)

Selection Process
