National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) Invites applications for the following Vacancies

Essential Qualification

• Technician A
  • SSC or Matriculation
  • ITI Certificate or equivalent in relevant trade (Carpentry/ Electrical/ Fitter/ Electronics)
  • Experience: 1 year post ITI (for 2 year course) OR 2 years post ITI (for 1 year course)
• Technical Assistant A
  • 3 year Diploma in relevant Engineering (Electrical/ Computer Science/ Mechanical/ Civil/ Electronics)
  • OR NIELIT A Level (for Computer)
  • OR BCA/Computer Science Degree (for Computer)
• Artist A
  • Diploma/Certificate in Fine/ Commercial Art (min 2 years duration) after SLC
  • Experience: 1 year post Diploma/Cert (for 2 year course) OR 2 years post Diploma/Cert (for 1 year course)
  • Desirable: Experience in fiber glass Art
• Office Assistant Gr III
  • Higher Secondary or equivalent
  • Typing Speed Certificate (Govt recognized): 35 wpm English OR 30 wpm Hindi on computer

Salary Details

Salary Technician A/Artist A/Office Assistant Gr III	Level 2 Rs 19,900-63,200 approx Rs 34k-39k monthly
Salary Technical Assistant A	Level 5 Rs 29,200-92,300 approx Rs 53k-60k monthly

Age Eligibility

• Technician A, Technical Assistant A, Artist A: Max 35 years
• Office Assistant Gr III: Max 25 years
• Reserved Categories (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD/ ESM etc): Age relaxation is as per Government of India Rules

Selection Process

1. Candidates may be called for Aptitude test and/or Skill test.
2. Office Assistant Gr III requires qualifying a typing test (10 mins, 35 wpm Eng/30 wpm Hindi).
3. Admit cards (call letters) for tests will be sent via email.

3. Submit application well before the last date 23/05/2025.
4. Ensure all details filled are correct before final submission as no changes are allowed later.
5. Pay the application fee online (Rs 885 for non-exempted) by 23/05/2025 via Net Banking/Card.
6. Government/PSU employees need to submit NOC or apply through proper channel.
