Junior Engineer B – Information Technology job description:

The National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) has invited online applications from eligible candidates to recruit the Junior Engineer B posts. The NCBS Recruitment 2024 has started the online application dates interested candidates can read the eligibility criteria before applying for the post. Eligible candidates can apply online for NCBS Jobs 2024 on or before the last date of application.

Junior Engineer B – Information Technology Qualification & experience :

Full Time Diploma in Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks) in relevant discipline
Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications
Two (2) years hands on experience on the following:
Working knowledge on Linux OS
Installation/Compilation of software in Linux
Bash/Python scripting
Working/Testing with with open-source applications
Installation/Compilation of software’s in Linux
Regularly upgrade systems as needed as well maintaining periodic backups and verification.
Manage desktop and lab server infrastructure
Manage Helpdesk calls for systems which involves resolving/updating issues/tickets, request tracking, analytics and reporting on tickets.
Pay scale : Level 6 (stage-1) Basic Pay: Rs. 35,400/- + allowances as per Central Government norms.

Junior Engineer B – Information Technology Selection Process :

The Selection will be based on Personal Interview.
