General Stream Graduate:

• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
• Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in relevant Engineering or Technology discipline from a recognized state board, AICTE, or university.
• Engineering Graduate Apprentice: Degree in Engineering/Technology from recognized university/institution.
• General Stream Graduate Apprentice: B.Com, BCA, BBA, BSW, or equivalent recognized by state/central government.

Age Limit:

• 18–27 years for general candidates
• Age relaxation applicable: 5 yrs for SC/ST, 3 yrs for OBC-NCL, 10 yrs for PwD candidates

Other Conditions:

• Candidates must not be undergoing any other full-time course during training.
• Candidates who have already undergone or are undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices Act 1973 are not eligible.

Selection Process

The selection process is merit-based and includes:

1. 80% weightage for marks obtained in qualifying exams
2. 20% weightage for interview performance
3. Document verification for proof of date of birth, qualification, category, etc.

Candidates are shortlisted and notified via their registered email and the MDL portal. A valid email ID and mobile number are mandatory throughout the training period.

3. Upload scanned copies of passport size photograph, signature, and relevant certificates
4. Verify email via the validation link sent
5. Ensure registration on NATS 2.0 portal and submit registration number along with the application

Reservation is applicable as per Government rules:

Stipend Details

• Graduate Apprentice: ?12,300/month (?7,800 MDL Share + ?4,500 Govt. DBT Share)
• Diploma Apprentice: ?10,900/month (?6,900 MDL Share + ?4,000 Govt. DBT Share)

Key Instructions

• Candidates must produce a medical fitness certificate from a government hospital before joining
• No TA/DA will be provided for any stage of the induction process
• Incomplete or erroneous applications will be rejected
• MDL is not obliged to offer employment post apprenticeship
