Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released a notification for direct recruitment to the post of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) and other ISRO Centres. The posts are at Level 10 of the Pay Matrix (?56,100 – ?1,77,500) under Group A Gazetted category. Essential Qualification ISRO VSSC Scientist/Engineer Recruitment

Salary details ISRO VSSC Scientist/Engineer Recruitment

Level-10 Rs.56,100 to 1,77,500/- per month along with other allowances as per government norms.

Selection Process  ISRO VSSC Scientist/Engineer Recruitment

The selection process consists of a written test followed by an interview. The written test will have three parts: Part A (discipline-specific), Part B (aptitude test), and Part C (descriptive). Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview in a 1:5 ratio.

  • Part A: 60 MCQs (60 marks), 75 minutes
  • Part B: 15 MCQs (20 marks), 30 minutes
  • Part C: Descriptive (20 marks), 30 minutes

Candidates need to pay an application fee of ?750 initially. Female/SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD candidates will receive a full refund upon appearing for the written test. For others, ?500 will be refunded after deducting bank charges.
