Consolidated Monthly Pay: ?30,000/-

Additional Allowances:

• Daily Allowance: ?350/day when on board trains
• Lodging Charges: ?240/- (for outstation night stay)
• National Holiday Allowance (NHA): ?384 per NH worked
• Medical Insurance: Reimbursable as per IRCTC guidelines

? Essential Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following full-time qualifications:

(i) B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration

From CIHM/SIHM/PIHM or institutions affiliated to
NCHMCT / UGC / AICTE / Govt. of India

(ii) BBA / MBA (Culinary Arts)

From Indian Culinary Institutes under Ministry of Tourism

(iii) B.Sc. Hotel Management & Catering Science

From Govt.-recognized universities (UGC/AICTE)

(iv) MBA (Tourism & Hotel Management)

From Govt.-recognized Universities (UGC/AICTE)

Post Qualification Experience:

? Minimum 2 years in relevant hospitality/catering field

? Age Limit (as on 01/11/2025)

• UR / General: 28 years
• OBC: +3 years relaxation
• SC / ST: +5 years relaxation
• PwBD: +10 years relaxation

? Medical Fitness

All selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness test as prescribed by IRCTC.

?? Job Role & Responsibilities (Scope of Work)

Hospitality Monitors will be responsible for:

• Monitoring food production, quality, hygiene, service standards
• Managing mobile/static catering units
• Ensuring men & material planning
• Handling customer/passenger complaints
• Collecting & analysing feedback
• Supervising staff & maintaining equipment
• Ensuring statutory compliance
• Coordinating with IRCTC departments & partners
• Any other duty assigned by IRCTC

? General Conditions (Important Points)

• Purely contractual job; no claim for regular employment.
• Contract can be terminated by 1-month notice (or 15 days for poor performance).
• Only Indian nationals eligible.
• Government/PSU employees must bring NOC/Relieving Letter.
• Furnishing any false information leads to cancellation.
• Selected candidates must deposit ?25,000 Security Deposit (DD, Kolkata)
• No TA/DA for attending interview.
• Candidates must arrange stay/food in case of extended interview days.
• Must have basic knowledge of MS Office & report preparation.
• IRCTC reserves full rights to modify/cancel the selection process.
