There is an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Essential Qualification HCL Trade Apprentices Recruitment
- For Mate (Mines) & Blaster (Mines):
- Candidates must have passed the 10th Grade under the 10+2 system.
- For All Other Trades:
- Passed the 10th Grade under the 10+2 system.
- ITI certificate in the respective trade.
Candidates with higher qualifications like Diploma or Degrees will not be considered.

Selection Process HCL Trade Apprentices Recruitment
- The selection is based on merit from marks in the 10th and ITI exams.
- For ITI trades, 70% weightage is for 10th marks and 30% for ITI marks.
- For non-ITI trades, 100% weightage is given to 10th board marks.
- If marks are equal, the older candidate will be given preference.
- Selected candidates must be declared medically fit.
