ESIC Chandigarh Recruitment 2025 – Walk-in Interview for Specialists & Senior Residents on 13th November

Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Model Hospital, Chandigarh has released a notification for Walk-in Interview for the recruitment of Full Time/Part Time Specialists and Senior Residents on a contract basis.
The interview is scheduled to be held on 13th November 2025 at 09:30 AM.

Vacancy Details– ESIC Model Hospital Chandigarh

Full Time / Part Time Specialists (Contract Basis – 3 Years)

Senior Residents (3 Years Contract under ESIC Residency Scheme)

Eligibility Criteria

For Full Time / Part Time Specialists

• Qualification: Degree/DNB or Diploma in concerned specialty from a recognized university.
• Experience:
  • 3 years after PG Degree/DNB
  • 5 years after Diploma
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 67 years as on date of interview.
• Registration: Must be registered with Central/State Medical Council.

For Senior Residents

• Qualification: MBBS with PG Degree/DNB/Diploma in concerned specialty.
• Candidates with 2 years’ experience after MBBS in relevant specialty may also apply if no PG/Diploma candidates appear.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years (Relaxation as per Govt. rules).
• Registration: Mandatory with Central/State Medical Council.

Pay & Allowances

For Specialists

• Full Time Specialist (Junior Specialist): ?67,700/- (Level-11) + Allowances (Approx. ?1.45 lakh/month).
• Part Time Specialist: ?60,000/- + ?15,000/- for emergency calls + ?800/- per extra hour beyond 16 hrs/week.

For Senior Residents

• ?67,700/- per month (Level 11, 7th CPC Pay Matrix) + ESIC allowances.
  • ?1,350/- deduction if holding Diploma.
  • ?2,250/- deduction if not holding Diploma/Degree.

Selection Process

• Walk-in Interview on 13th November 2025 (09:30 AM)
• Candidates will undergo document verification and interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing.

• Matriculation certificate (Age proof)
• MBBS / MD / DNB / Diploma degree certificates
• MCI/State Medical Council registration
• Attempt and mark sheets
• Experience certificates
• Caste / EWS certificate (if applicable)
• NOC from current employer (if applicable)
• Aadhaar card copy
• Two passport-size photos

Terms & Conditions

• Tenure is purely contractual — no claim for regularization.
• Selected candidates must join within 7 days of selection.
• Security Deposit: ?50,000/- (refundable after contract completion).
• Private practice not allowed for full-time posts.
• Posts and vacancies may change without notice.
• Regular candidates joining will terminate contract appointments immediately.
