- All posts are reserved for Ex-Servicemen, but civilians can also apply.
- Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen (ESM).
- Civilian candidates selected will serve only 11 months.
- Selected Medical & Dental Officers must undergo 10 days On-the-Job Training (OJT) (unpaid).
