The Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), under the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), has released the official notification for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) recruitment 2025. As per the notice, candidates possessing B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech/MS/Postgraduate Degrees in relevant disciplines with valid NET/GATE can appear for a Walk-in Interview scheduled on 11th October 2025.

Essential Qualification DRDO JRF Recruitment

Engineering Streams:

• B.E/B.Tech in relevant discipline in First Division with valid NET/GATE
• OR M.E/M.Tech in relevant discipline in First Division at Graduate & Postgraduate level

Physics / Oceanography / Meteorology:

• Postgraduate Degree in basic science in First Division with valid NET
• OR M.E/M.Tech in relevant specialization with First Division at Graduate & Postgraduate level

DRDO JRF Recruitment Age Limit

Maximum Age: 28 years (as on interview date)

Relaxation:

• OBC – 3 years
• SC/ST – 5 years

Salary details DRDO JRF Recruitment

Rs.37,000/- per month + HRA (as per Govt. norms)

Selection Process  DRDO JRF Recruitment

The selection will be based on Walk-in Interview.
