Junior Research Fellowship Tenure & Stipend

• Tenure:
  • Initially 2 years
  • Extendable up to 4 years (1 year at a time), subject to performance review
• Stipend:
  • ?37,000 per month
  • Plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per rules

Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Option 1: Graduate with GATE

• BE / B.Tech in the relevant discipline (First Division)
• Valid GATE Score (2024 or 2025 only)

Option 2: Postgraduate

• ME / M.Tech in the relevant discipline
• First Division at both Graduate and Postgraduate levels

Age Limit (as on 31 December 2025)

• Maximum Age: 28 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

Interview Guidelines (Important)

• Late reporting candidates will not be allowed
• Initial screening: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

• Interview may continue to the next day if the number of candidates is high
