CSPGCL ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026–27: Apply for 105 Trade Apprentice Posts

Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL), a Government of Chhattisgarh undertaking and successor company of CSEB, has released an official notification inviting applications for ITI Trade Apprentice Training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 for the training year 2026–27.

The recruitment is being conducted through the Power Generation Training Institute (PGTI), Korba East, for deployment at various thermal and hydro power plants of CSPGCL across Chhattisgarh.

Vacancy Details

A total of 105 ITI Apprentice vacancies are available in the following trades:

• Electrician – 25 posts
• Fitter – 25 posts
• Welder – 05 posts
• COPA (Computer Operator & Programming Assistant) – 20 posts
• Stenographer (English) – 15 posts
• Stenographer (Hindi) – 15 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized NCVT/SCVT institute.

Apprenticeship Stipend

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ?9,600 as per apprenticeship norms.

Eligibility Conditions

• The applicant must be a domicile of Chhattisgarh.
• Candidates should not have one year or more of prior work experience or previous apprenticeship training.
• Reservation will be applicable as per Chhattisgarh Government rules.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

1. Marks obtained in the qualifying ITI examination
2. Interview performance

A merit list and waiting list will be published on the official website of CSPGCL. Selected candidates will be informed through email, and candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates.

Training Duration & Posting

• The apprenticeship training duration will be one year only.
• Training will be conducted at CSPGCL units including:
  • Hasdeo Thermal Power Station, Korba West
  • Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Thermal Power Station, Korba East
  • Atal Bihari Vajpayee Thermal Power Station, Madwa
  • Hasdeo Bango Hydro Power Plant, Machadoli

Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent or temporary employment in CSPGCL.

Candidates must:

• Register on www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in (NAPS Portal)
• Mention the 16-digit NAPS Registration Number in the application form
• Submit the offline application form along with self-attested copies of required documents

• Applications can be submitted by post or in person during office hours (10:00 AM to 5:30 PM).
