• SSLC (10th Pass)
• ITI (National Trade Certificate – NTC)
• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in relevant trade

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in the relevant trade
• Experience must be from:
  • Shipyard
  • Engineering Company
  • Government / Semi-Government Establishment

Completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprentices Act, 1961 is treated as valid experience.

Each trade requires specific hands-on expertise, such as welding, fabrication, machining, electrical maintenance, electronics repair, crane operation, instrumentation, carpentry, or marine painting.

CSL Workmen selection will be conducted in two phases:

Phase I – Objective Type Online Test (30 Marks)

Phase II – Practical Test (70 Marks)
