• Station Officer (Sub Inspector): Must have a B.Sc. or B.E. degree in Firefighting.
• Mechanic: 10+2 pass with an ITI diploma in Diesel Mechanic trade.
• Watchroom Operator: 10+2 pass and must be a trained Home Guard.
• Wireless Operator (Contract): 10+2 pass and must be a trained Wireless Operator Home Guard.

For the following posts, candidates must be 10+2 (Intermediate) pass:

• Vehicle Driver
• Vehicle Driver cum Operator
• Fireman
• Store Keeper

Note: A heavy motor vehicle driving license is also required for the posts of Vehicle Driver and Vehicle Driver cum Operator.

Chhattisgarh Fire and Emergency Services Recruitment Age Limit

 18 to 28 years as of 01/01/2025.Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules, with an initial 5-year relaxation for all candidates. The maximum age after all relaxations will not exceed 45 years.

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This is the first stage. For Station Officer, it is 300 marks. For all other posts, it is 100 marks.
2. Written Exam: This exam is for 100 marks and will last for 2 hours.
3. Trade Test: A trade test of 100 marks is required for Vehicle Driver and Vehicle Driver Operator posts.
4. Bonus Marks: Up to 10 bonus marks for special qualifications like an NCC certificate or sports proficiency.
