Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Corporation Limited, Vijayawada, invites online applications from eligible Graduate / Diploma holders in Electrical Engineering (those who have passed during the year 2021-22 can apply. Further those who qualify the course in succeeding years can apply before completion of one year from the date of passing) for undergoing one year Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973

Educational Qualification:

A. Graduate Apprentices:

• A degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Technology granted by statutory University. • A degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degrees by an Act of Parliament.

B. Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:

• A Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline. • A Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline

RESERVATION OF VACANCIES:

Guidelines under Apprentices Act on Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be followed. Who are claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/PWD shall provide certificate as per Government standard format, failed which their claim for reservation will be considered as ‘General’ category only. If BC candidates claiming OBC category, they should bring OBC certificate as per the Govt. prescribed (OBC) format from the certificate issuing authority or Tahsildar.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years and above
  
• Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules

Selection Process:

The selection criteria will be based on merit of final percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in their Graduate course and Diploma course. The shortlisted candidates will be informed for document verification and joining through e-mail: gmhrapcpdcl@gmail.com to their registered e-mail ID
