Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility varies post-wise. In general:

• Applicants must be officers holding analogous posts on regular basis
• Or have required years of regular service in relevant pay level/grade pay
• Must possess prescribed educational qualifications and experience
• Only post-qualification experience will be considered

Detailed eligibility for each post is as per Recruitment Rules and DoPT guidelines.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age:
  • 56 years for most posts
  • 59 years for Medical Superintendent
• Age calculated as on the last date of receipt of application

Deputation Period

• Initial deputation: 3 years
• Extendable up to 5 years as per DoPT norms
