Airports Authority of India (AAI) has released an official notification for the engagement of Graduate and Diploma Apprentices at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (NSCBI Airport), Kolkata for the academic year 2025–26. This recruitment is announced under Advt. No. 2/2025/AAC/APPRENTICE-GRADUATE/DIPLOMA/AAI-NSCBI AIRPORT and is governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Eligible candidates who are domiciles of West Bengal can apply online through the NATS/BOPT portal. The apprenticeship training duration is one year, and selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend up to ?15,000.
About Airports Authority of India (AAI)
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is a Schedule ‘A’ Category-1 Public Sector Enterprise, constituted by an Act of Parliament. It came into existence on 1st April 1995 through the merger of the National Airports Authority and the International Airports Authority of India.

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian
- Domicile: Only candidates having West Bengal domicile are eligible
- Year of Passing: Candidates who passed Degree/Diploma in 2023 or later
- Age Limit (as on 05/02/2026):
- Minimum: 18 Years
- Maximum: 26 Years
- Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories as per Government of India rules
Important Conditions
- Apprenticeship training will be conducted only at AAI, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata
- Candidates who have:
- Already completed apprenticeship
- Terminated apprenticeship midway
- Undergone apprenticeship/job experience of 1 year or more
are not eligible
- Candidates pursuing apprenticeship in any other organization or in AAI with the same qualification level are not eligible
Selection Process
- Vacancies will be advertised only through the BOPT/NATS portal
- Applications received via NATS/BOPT will be considered
- Provisional selection based on percentage of marks in the qualifying examination
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Document Verification via registered email
- Final selection based on:
- Interview
- Certificate verification
- Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining
- Selected candidates will be engaged only at NSCBI Airport, Kolkata-52
