AAI North Eastern Region Eligibility Criteria 2025

Eligibility is calculated as on 06 December 2025.

1. Senior Assistant (Electronics) – NE-06

Qualification:

• Diploma in Electronics / Telecommunication / Radio Engineering
• 2 years relevant experience required

2. Junior Assistant (HR) – NE-04

Qualification:

• Graduate in any discipline
• Candidates qualifying CBT must clear MS Office Computer Literacy Test (qualifying only)

3. Junior Assistant (Fire Services) – NE-04

Qualification:

• Option 1: 10th Pass + 3-years Diploma (Mechanical / Automobile / Fire)
• OR
• Option 2: 12th Pass (Regular)

Driving Licence Requirement:

• Heavy Vehicle OR
• Medium Vehicle (issued at least 1 year before 06.12.2025) OR
• LMV (issued at least 2 years before 06.12.2025)

Physical Standards:
Height, weight, eyesight, hearing and endurance tests as per notification.

PwBD candidates are not eligible for Fire Service posts.

AAI Recruitment 2025 – Age Limit

Age as on 06 December 2025:
18 to 30 years

Relaxations:

• OBC (NCL): +3 years
• SC/ST: +5 years
• PwBD: +10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per rules
• AAI Employees: +10 years
• Widows/Divorced/Women Judicially Separated: Up to 35/38/40 years

AAI NER Selection Process 2025

1. Senior Assistant (Electronics)

• Computer Based Test (CBT) – 70% Technical, 30% General topics
• Document Verification
• 12-week Ab-Initio Training + 4-week OJT

2. Junior Assistant (HR)

• CBT (50% Subject + 50% General)
• MS Office Computer Test (qualifying)
• Document Verification

3. Junior Assistant (Fire Services)

Stage 1:

• CBT (50% Technical + 50% General)

Stage 2:

• Document Verification
• Physical Measurement Test
• Medical Test
• Driving Test
• Physical Endurance Test (PET) – Qualifying; minimum 60/100 marks

Training:

• 18-week Basic Training Course (BTC)
