AAI Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Graduate Apprentice

• Full-time 4-year Engineering Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.

Diploma Apprentice

• Full-time 3-year Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline.

ITI Apprentice

• ITI / NCVT certificate in:
  • Computer Operator Programming Assistant (COPA)
  • Stenographer

Candidates must have completed their qualification in or after 2022.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 26 years
• Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules for reserved categories.

AAI Apprentice Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

1. Merit List prepared from marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
2. Document Verification
3. Medical Fitness Certificate

In case of equal marks, Date of Birth and passing year will be used to decide merit.

Selected apprentices may be posted at various airports including:

• Jaipur
• Lucknow
• Varanasi
• Srinagar
• Leh
• Dehradun
• Prayagraj
• Gorakhpur
• Gwalior
• Udaipur

and other airports in the Northern Region and Madhya Pradesh.

How to Apply for AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026

1. Visit the NATS portal for Graduate/Diploma apprentices
2. Visit the NAPS portal for ITI apprentices
3. Register yourself on the portal.
4. Search for Airports Authority of India – RHQ NR, New Delhi.
5. Click on Apply for the apprenticeship position.
6. Submit the application and confirm registration.

After successful submission, the portal will display:

“Successfully applied for the training position. Based on availability, you will be contacted by the establishment.”
